HITLER signed the reverse of the watercolour sketch (left) as above: “Meiner lieben Löttl, Dein Wolf”. The owner informs us: Both items came from Rudolf Pfeiffer-Bechstein, widower of Lotte Bechstein. The Bechsteins were early Hitler benefactors. Carl Bechstein (1826 Gotha &endash; 1900 Berlin) was married to Louise Döring, in 1856.  Their son Edwin Bechstein married Helene Capito (1876 Düsseldorf &endash; 1951 Berchtesgaden).  Edwin Bechstein and Helene had a son and a daughter (Liselotte = Lotte).
