Ronald Desseyn of Belgium finds, Saturday, July 2, 2005, that Dutch historians are frightened to discuss David Irving’s works on the Interrnet

No discussion of Mr Irving’s book’s, either
A FEW days ago I joined a Dutch forum on the history of the second world war. One of the subjects was “What is your favourite book on the WW2.”
Because I wrote that Hitler’s War was my favourite book, I was banned from the forum without any explanation.. Of course this will not change my views, on the contrary it confirms that the enemies of free speech are active everywhere, also in the Netherlands.
Keep up the good work. I’m looking forward to your biography of Himmler and to the 3rd volume of Churchill’s War.
Ronald Desseyn

Sir John Keegan wrote: “Two books in English stand out from the vast literature of the Second World War. Chester Wilmot’s The Struggle for Europe, published in 1952, and David Irving’s Hitler’s War.”
Kelly Snowden thinks that it is quite right that Mr Irving should be banned from speaking anywhere
