- London, England WIM 5DJDear Mr. Irving:
You may recall that you and I corresponded earlier in the year concerning possible knowledge that you might have with respect to the Oklahoma City bombing. You may recall that I represent Tim McVeigh.
I must admit that I was not aware, or had forgotten, that you are the author of three books that I very much admire. I was in London recently and was at Foyles and found a copy of the hook, Uprising, and noticed that you are also the same author of Accident–The Death of General Sikorski and Trail of the Fox, The Life of Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, I have both of the latter two books, have read them with great interest, and very much admire the scholarship reflected. I was not aware of the book Uprising until I saw it at Foyles. I purchased a copy and read it on the plane coming back. The events in Poland and Hungary in 1956 have always fascinated me and your account of Hungarian Revolution is truly outstanding. I would hope that it might be possible for me, at my expense, to send one of these books to you for your autograph.
Perhaps the next time I am in London you would be my guest for lunch.
Sincerely
[sgd] S Jones
Stephen Jones
