The real figure of Soviet casualties

HAVE any Revisionist Historians attempted to dissect the “20 Million Dead” figure always quoted by mainstream Western and Soviet Historians regarding the alleged number of Soviet losses during the Second World War?

In recent years this figure has been inflated by some commentators to 27 Million. What do you think think about this subject and what would you guess the accurate number of Soviet losses to be during the war?

DAVID IRVING replies:

Stalin privately gave Churchill a figure of five million “killed and missing” all told in July 1945. He would have had no cause to minimise the total.
